How are we doing this year?

Revenue year to date is NOK 1,240,500 against NOK 890,200 of costs — a result of NOK 350,300. That is 18% better than the same period last year. You have NOK 96,400 outstanding, of which NOK 48,750 is overdue.

What it can do

Answer questions about your books — results, outstanding invoices, what you spent where
Upload receipts and read off amount, date, supplier and VAT
Book expenses with the receipt archived as the law requires
Draft invoices for you to review and send yourself
Maintain customers, suppliers, products and employees
Show deadlines and what is missing before the next filing

What it does not do

Send an invoice to your customer
File a VAT return with Altinn
File payroll reporting with Altinn
Run payroll or close the financial year

This is deliberate. A filing with Altinn cannot be undone, and an invoice number cannot be reused. You take those steps yourself in Kantax, with the numbers in front of you.

You decide what it may do

Access is set when you connect, and can be changed or revoked whenever you like.

Choose the level

Read-only lets the AI see your accounting without changing anything. Read and draft also lets it upload receipts and book expenses.

Everything is logged

Every change the AI makes lands in the audit log, tagged with the connection that made it. You can see exactly what was done and when.

Revoke at any time

One click in Settings removes access immediately. Your books are unchanged — only the connection goes away.

Why this is different

A language model handed a CSV can be wrong without knowing it. Kantax gives the AI tools instead of text: it looks up actual rows, and when it books something it goes through the same checks as if you had done it yourself in the app — gap-free invoice numbering, VAT rules, receipt archiving. It cannot book anything Kantax would not let you book.

What does it cost?

Nothing extra. The AI connection is included in the normal price — NOK 100 per month for one user, NOK 50 for each additional one. 30-day trial, and you do not need a card to try it.
